Andrea Bailey

Andrea received her BSCE from Purdue University in December 2013 and her MSCE in May 2015. Her thesis focused on defining food deserts based on the travel cost of various modes of transportation as well as household income. She is also interested in transportation planning and economics, traffic analysis, and active transportation. While at Purdue, she was very involved in the band department as a drum major of the "All-American" Marching Band and a trumpet player in Boiler Brass, the men´s basketball band. She also loves traveling and doing anything outdoors, like running, cycling, or hiking. She now works as a transportation engineer for Strand Associates, Inc. in Columbus, IN.
